And not just when you shave, but each time you are in a shower. The reason why E45 and Baby Oil work is because they moisturise that dry dead layer, but don't remove it so the rash still occures. If you exfoliate as well as use moisturiser you will see a really fast change. If you keep up the routine couple of weeks should be enough to get rid of the rash full stop.
Question, have you tried an epilator? I know it might hurt to start with, but not only does the hair removal last for up to a couple of weeks but if used regularly, hairs grow finer and fewer. You still need to exfoliate like there is no tomorrow and perhaps use anti-bacterial wash after, to prevent redness. But again after a couple of weeks your skin gets used to it, you'll not feel any pain and the rash will be gone.

i had the same problem & am convinced i was using too many products & my skin just could not cope. best thing i tried was king of shaves gel which you can get in boots. has little moisturising beads suspended in the gel so you dont need separate cream afterwards. make sure you rinse really thoroughly. just take comfort that these thing usually go away as suddenly as they come.
thanks for your anwsers im going to make sure i exfoliate well and change to a senisitive shower gel and moisturiser. i will keep an epilator in mind ive had my bikini line lazered so it cant be anymore painfull than that!
i tried a free sample of the king of shave stuff ages ago cant remember what is was but it i remember thinking it was good did not know where to get if from but i do now thanks.
