Serious answers to this question too please! Ok, a womans mentrual cycle is based on a 28 day period. With ovulation being Day 14. But if your menstrual cycle is 33-35 days, does this still make ovulation begin at Day 14? I know its all approximate, but wondered if it should be counted from say 16/17 instead?

It's 14 days before your period starts, so in this case it would be about Day 19 - 21. However, if your trying to have kids you should have sex for the 4 or 5 days before this as it improves your chances (and is also a lot of fun!).

Thanks Cathy. Definately NOT planning babies, was just curious.
There are physical signs of ovulation for most women (not to mention the mood swing). Maybe you could read up on it so that you can be sure.
