Pregnancy worries
5 Answers
I have been trying for a baby for two years in that time I have had a miscarriage and an 'unestablished' pregnancy. This morning I did a test as I am late and it was positive which is very exciting except I am petrified. I am very achey across my pelvis and have dull lower back pains is this normal or does it indicate that there is something wrong? I will go to the doctors but I would just like to know if anyone out there had the same and all was ok or should I just relax? my past experiences have made me a little 'on edge'
Thanks in advance x x

Hi when i was pregnant i wouldnt take a test as i felt i was going to come on i had pains low down all round my back just as you do when you are coming on. two weeks later i done the test and there she was. Go to the hospital if something doesn't feel right and explain your history they will scan you straight away better than having to wait for the dr to refer you if something is wrong. My best mate had exactly the same as you and she had to attend an early pregnancy thing so the keep an extra eye on you to make sure all is ok. I really have got my fingers crossed for you. good luck and keep us posted.
Apparently, hormones in pregnancy actually cause your pelvic bones to soften and move (I've been told this a few times but it could be wrong) and therefore you get aches and twinges etc, without it meaning there is something wrong. Plus after your experience, you will no doubt be feeling every little feeling. My sister bled nearly every month all the way through her last pregnancy, and had period pains at various intervals. She went for the early check up things that tigilou mentioned and everything was fine. Best of Luck
