Im a bloke and i find it really hard to find a shampoo that suits me. I have medium length wavy hair and if I wash it with average stuff it becomes too dry and if I leave it, it gets greasy. What stuff should I use without costing a bomb and taking forever to put on.

does it have to be a mens shampoo?? dont know there would be much difference but I am female with medium lenghth hair and I have found the best to be 'fructus' forget who makes it(have tried loads). You wash in adn wash out. There is a conditioner too. Has a smell but would not say particularly perfumed ie make you smell like a woman!! Do not use that tresomme they keep advertising, it made my hair greasy.

I dont know of many mens shampoo actually, apart from that stuff for grey hair

Shampoo for men? Hw many shampoos have you been thru. For god sake just use any ol shampoo. The end result is the same - soft, bouncy, bouffant. Try plaiting it or putting it up then it wont become a problem or change your diet..
ahhh bless. Don't be mean. Crispynugget, I have got very long wavy hair and I use Dove Intense Care shampoo and conditioner. It works better than anything else I have tried, including lots of salon bought ones that cost an arm and a leg. It comes in dark blue bottles.x

thankyou very much rosio x

i'll get some 2morrow

Charles Worthington products are good, my hubbie has used the mens range and the unisex ranges too. Worth a try as they sell trial sizes in Boots.
If you are broke, then why don't you buy a big bottle of baby shampoo, it's mild and gentle and can also be used as a shower gel or for the bath, and you will smell simply gorgeous.

i wonder why rosieo got a thank you and i didn't - felt I had tried to be helpful too.

sorry joanne10. Didnt mean to offend. Its just I've tried fructus and , though it did the job, my hair ended up very dry and fluffy. Cheers anyway.
Have you tried putting serum in your hair after you have washed it and it is still wet? This can also help to stop it going mad and fluffy. You can buy little bottles of Charles Worthington serum in Boots for about 1.50. You only need a tiny bit.x

Tressemme. Its salon quality, but at a lower price!

They have got to use a better marketing pitch.
