What clothes

From a reply I have just come across is it better to be dressed in designer labels or doesnt it matter as long as you look ok?

I recently went into the officers club to buy some jeans and blow me...if they wernt all faded and had holes in em...!! what's that all about then...okay they were cheap....but the last thing I want to do,is go home and start sowing the holes up...!!blooming cheek.And has anybody noticed that the XL T-shirts wouldnt fit over yer you know what..and most of the so called fashion clothes we wore in the seventies have mysteriously, appeared in top shop..Have they been stuck in some type of time-warp warehouse.um...Ive got a horrible feeling that stored somewhere in a massive warehouse is millions of shellsuits just waiting to materialise in the high street.( :)******...me toast is burning>>>>>>>bye..!!

Its all these stripy jumpers now, I go in the pub at the weekend and makes my eyes funny. And really stripes that way arent the most flattering for a larger figure.

We're not the slightest bit interested in designer labels either (well apart from buying Levi Jeans) & we brought our daughters up to be the same.

Mind you, just by chance, I did buy a beautiful ELGIN cashmere jumper in TK Maxx a couple of weeks ago. It was priced up at �69.99, but was in the sale at �5!!!! I aIso bought a pair of comfy Scholl leather loafers, priced at �49.99, which were in the sale at �19.99.

I didn't buy them for their labels - only because they were my cup of tea!

I used to love wearing my striped 'Popeye' jumpers in the 60's. I've got some from last summer that I can't wait to wear with my jeans & denim shorts this summer.

Oh Shaney that did make me larf! If I looked anything like her, I'd wear a large brown paper bag instead of striped tops!!!!

Yes if we ever get a summer gessoo? It was such a beautiful spring day yesterday, the sun was out, the birds were busy in the garden - but today we're back to clouds, rain & the damp!

Actually, if I looked anything remotely like her, I'd wear a big brown sack - a brown paper bag would only get wet in the rain!

I had a D&G dress which fell apart after wearing it once. I have a pair of PJ bottoms from 'what everyone wants' that I have had for 8 years and still wear them!!
