Thirst problem.
7 Answers
I know we should drink plenty of water every day (eight large glasses), but my problem is that I never get thirsty. If I have a cuppa in the morning, I won't think about having another drink until I get home at about 7.00. I do like a drink (alcohol) on the evening, but that should make me extra thirsty the next day, but it does'nt. I just never get thirsty, yet I drink minimum fluids. Appreciate any advice. Cheers

Its really unhealthy though. Im 24 and in great shape, but when I went to get blood drawn a few weeks ago, the doctor couldn't find a vein! She said I was too dehydrated....I never would have known I was so dehydrated. Bottoms up!!
I think you are supposed to keep drinking water during the day even if you aren't thirsty .. I keep a bottle in the fridge so its nice and cold, sometimes adding a slice of lemon helps, and it's much nicer than at room temperature! Difficult to keep drinking it all day though, I agree. But I've been told on AB to drink loads cos of the bags under my eyes, so I must keep remembering to drink it.
Apparently if you feel thirsty you are already dehydrated.
I have a similar problem in that I find it difficult to drink high volumes of liquid - no pints of lager for me - and I do find it a huge effort to drink enough during the day. The water cooler in my office is only a couple of feet away from my desk, but I do have to force myself to get up and refill. If I get a headache I can usually assume it's because I'm dehydrated.
