This is absolutely true: I've got a horror of having my eyes sucked out by a vacuum cleaner. When I'm cleaning, I have to keep the nozzle well away from my face and can' t stop thinking about it until I've put the vacuum cleaner away.

Oh I know what else scars me.. someone else holding a knife! Especially when they are gesturing with it.. I can just see me getting stabbed, in the eye or something! I am ok when I hold a knife but anyone else and I worry!

pigeons- the bast**rds fly right at you and dont care and parent who let there kids run into the middle of a flock should be punished would they let them run into a (sorry dont know what a group are called) gang of rats!!

I really don't like spiders, but if my littlun is around I would pick one up and take it outside just to show her that they are ok. Then excuse myself and go and lock myself in a bathroom and scrub my hands raw.

I am scared of the fact that I might not be there for my daughter or my parents when they might need me. Nothing worst than being helpless at a distance.

The feeling that i want to batter the living daylights off young yobs who think it is fun to smash off the wing mirrors of all the cars in my street. I shouldn't get so aggressive, but late at night i turn into this Anyanka type bird who will kick ass when provoked.

When I was 6 I got bitten off a dog. I was playing football with me mates and the ball went towards a dog which was infamous for being dodgy.

i went to get the ball back and it attacked me. Now am nervous about dogs. pobias often originate when you are young in such situations like that and last a lifetime

mine is flying! I hate it after a really bad flight home from Turkey in 1990. have done it twice since(91 & 01) but it scared the hell out of me.! We are off on holiday again this year and i'm dreading it. We are not going till late sept but i am already feeling very nervy about it. I keep looking up at planes and worrying that i've got to get on one again!

Oh also i hate confined spaces and being anywhere where there is masses of people, all close together, such as concerts. Makes me very nervous about getting crushed.

kazminx, I hate tripe too, my mum,dad and sister used to eat it every saturday lunchtime. I used to scarper to my room with a crisp sarnie cos it made me ill looking at it
