My hair hurts!
6 Answers
Has anyone else experienced this? A few days ago, one small part of my head was hurting intermittently, verypainfully, almost as if I'd been hit with a small hammer.
I don't remember sustaining any injury so it's got me really puzzled and a bit worried.
As I've said, it doesn't hurt all the time, but when it is hurting, just touching the ends of my hair at that location makes for more pain.
By the way, the pain is becoming more persistent... Apart from saying, 'Go to the doctors.' does anyone have any ideas?

You're quite right gazzawazza, the first port of call is the docs!! It could be any number of reasons, and every person who has experienced this will tell you something different - in my case it was nerves trapped in the neck, through the spine being out of alignment - but in any case persistent pain is your body telling you that something is not as it should be - and help is needed! Head pain is really wretched so I really do hope it goes fast!!
That sounds like a migraine. If you can point to the exact place on your head that you are getting a pain and it's very tender to the touch, then migraine is a strong possibility.
There's a small possibility that it could be something a lot worse like a clot or a tumour. Have it checked ASAP just in case.
