Not only are you facing motherhood again as a 'mature mum' you are wondering how to fit a 'milestone' birthday celebration into the scenario! You just have to work out how to approach this problem in the order that it is important to you.
A hardened drinker would advise you to delay the birth somehow, put a 'pass either side' sign front & back & join in the fun in a nearby 'Pub' where someone else could clear up! (Getting others to pay or food & drink re economy - not forgetting a large tarp in case the baby wants to joi in!)
A concerned fellow 'Mum' would say scrap the birthday & make sure the 'delivery' is safe & successful & that you & your new baby are the most important thing!
A difficult decision & one that only you & your conscience can make. Whatsoever you decide to do - I echo again - you are one brave girl & I hope all goes well. Try & keep us posted as to how you resolve all these probs & I'm sure the thoughts, if not prayers, of everyone on here shall 'go with you'.
