Well I ran it with them all mentally whilst sat in bed eating Potato Cakes and having a nice brew.
Does anyone else watch it and swear next year they will run it and it will be a doddle. ?????
Honestly I watch it and think ' whats all the fuss about 26 miles for goodness sake' and I wonder why people have to be carried over the finish line BUT last year I took up jogging and never even ran 1 mile without needing to gasp for air on the pavement. LOL
It all seems so easy from the comfort of your own bed.
Anyway well done and massive respect to anyone who actually did run it, even if you did not finish or it took many hours.

Seems you can run the marathon while in bed watching hollyoaks
I would have liked to run the one in Mainz (Germany) in May, however, my pregnancy got in the way...
I never thought it was a doddle, I run 20 or 25 km (12.5 - 15.5 miles) without a problem, though not in a time that a professional runner would be pleased with, I suppose.
After that every step gets painful.
Maybe next year...
