Hello I am new to the AB

Hello I an new to the AB and I would like to explain that I am a psyciatrist and GP I have decided that I would join the AB as I have been alarmed that people on this website are sometimes given untrue advice by other members . I do not think it is done out of nastiness but I felt I could offer an answer that users would know is true.

perhaps they are a follower of Freud and have spent a nice afternoon with their Mother! lol. If that was the advice of a Health professional, the lunatics have taken over the asylum.

well "doctor" i have a wee problem, i recently ran a red light....what do u think i shid do to get out of it...do you think i should pretend to cry? or if it is a female officer should i make a pass at her?

122345 you are a sad individual who had no-one fooled...i didnt have to read the replies to this post, i knew it was you!! as if a doctor(gp or psyciatrist) would have the time to go on here at 12.26 when sick patients would be in the waiting room....DUH!!!! think before you do it again....but you are quite easy to spot!!

I was shocked tthat you consider me to be another person and actually quite hurt.Why would the person who said those awful things to the young lady than go and give her there support.If I was pretending to be this other person would I not go on and say a nasty thing in response.I am especially given the job of using the internet to help people. Many people feel unable to speak to a psyciatrist so I run a service where people with problems can e-mail me with their problems.I was planning to give this address out but I am not sure it would be a good idea now. Also all psychiatrists are GPs.

All Psychiatrists have to be medical doctors as opposed to Psychologists who merely have degree in pshycology etc.

I was not aware that they had to be GPs.....they tend to practice as Psychiatrists not GPS.

If you look at noxymounus' initial posting about his medicalcondition...u cud answer it to your fullest mdical knowledge

I am a new member but I have been looking at this site for a long time now.It was a long decision to decide to come on this website and myself and other medical specialists discused this for quite a while.I would just like to say that I have a very busy internet helpline and it is not fair on the genuine people who would like an answer from me.I fyou would like me to answer a problem you have got then please write it seperately so that I can see it quickly.Thank You!

If you are truly NOT 122345 thaen im sure you understand peoples annoyance at that ABer who it wud seem caused havoc on this site at the weekend getting everyone barred by using multiple user names and than posting venomous answers on peops threads

Doctor Salyikova - in order to put all our minds at rest could you please tell us where you trained as a psychiatrist and where your practise is.Also what qualifications exactly you have.

i am so confused!!!! i dunno what to think....on one side we have a genuine doc who i have just insulted!! or we have 122345 playing with our heads again!! if it is the latter, she will be googling like mad trying to get answers for us!!

The whole feel of the original post feels phony. I have no idea who this person is, but I am convinced they are not a Doctor.
I certainly wont be putting any faith in any answers given by them. :)

Im sorry guys - but I just do NOT believe that a busy gp/psychiatrist/whatever would have the spare time to answer freebie question a on a general website!! For a start,should she give the wrong information she would be liable to all sorts of repurcussions.And why would a psychiatrist be giving an answer to a question on breast enlargement medicines!!! Hardly her field!!
