help, no matter wot shampoo i use my hair is still dead greasy and needs washing just about every day!!! any ideas pleeeeeeease!!!

i used to wash my hair every day which was a pain cos its long, thick and naturally curly....i use kerastese dual action which i get from my hairdresser...i now wash it every secind day and its fab. if you can find a hairdresser who stocks loreal products, then they will have it.

Hi mandie, myhair dresser said that really cost effective way of dealing with greasy hair was to add just a 5p size bit of fairy washing up liquid to your shampoo when you wash your hair. This cuts the grease. Ifyou find it makes it too dry just do it every other time or every third time. Then just apply your conditioner (if you use it) to the ends of your hair and not the roots.

I find Tresseme the best and it's very econonmical and things like herbal essence etc the worst.

Also, the more you wash your hair the more you need to wash it, try to stick it out and wash it every other day. If it looks really rank, you could just wash your fringe while you wait for the rest of your hair to settle down (if you have a fringe of course).

Alos, try a detox diet. And the places where you get vitimin supplements from often do specific supplements for hair and stuff. A good place is: www.highernature.com

I have very long, naturally greasy hair too at the roots and dry ends. Wash mine every day and use a really light shampoo - Dove is great, and I only apply conditioner to the ends and very little at the roots. I also always finish with a very cold rinse, which adds shine and controls grease!

And don't go overboard on styling products if you use them! :o)
