years ago, my now ex husband, brought me a Citroen 2CV. Something I had always wanted.

I bought my ex a camcorder for �300 and he bought me a laptop. But the best one was when he got a star named after me :o)

Must be my engagement ring. But then we split up, got back together and are not engaged anymore!! It sits in a drawer and I know I wont get it back as he thinks it is jinxed lol I want to wear it as a dress ring but Im not allowed and Im really not sure what he plans to do with it!!

my boyfriend bought me a �250 white gold, diamond and sapphire ring for my 21st birthday. my sister has been a lucky cow though! her husband (her then partner) one year bought her a piano that cost thousands of pounds, then the following year a car. think they were both for her birthday, or one might have been xmas. i was very jealous!!!

I got an eternity ring for xmas from my partner. We have a �100 max spend for xmas pressies each but he wrote ooops on the box. I accidently came across the receipt a few weeks later and I cant remember exact figure but it was well over �400. Made me feel guilty as id managed to stick to �100 budget. Am getting him a �250 chain for his birthday tomorrow though

And last year for my birthday I was at Glastonbury and he�d made sure he froze some Mr kipling cakes so by the time it got to my birthday they were just right and I got a Mr Kipling caramel slice with a candle in it. :-) Small gestures with a lot of thought are so much more important to me than the expensive presents. :-)

For my 21st in December my boyfriend bought me a huuugee bouquet of flowers picked me up in a pink limo where we went to a beautiful expensive hotel in a big city he'd decorated the room with banners balloons and confetti and champagne, chocs and �100 handbag to match my shoes then we went for a wonderful meal at a beautiful restaurant next door! it was most def the best birthday i have ever had or will ever have he must have spent well over �1000.

For his Bday i took him to london and went to see Les Mis cost me a months wage! only there 1 night as well!

Me loves him though!
