Shaving Head

This is a strange one - am sick of paying barber �10 a time to shave my head with a number 1 Razor. Girlfriend wont help so do you guys think its possible to shave own hair without ending up looking like a complete numpty?

My hubby has a No. 1 all over and he does it himself, i just go over when hes finished to check he hasn't missed any bits. I'm sure your girlfriend would do this for you else she'll have to go out with you looking like an idiot.Its fairly easy really

my bf always shaves his own, just be sure to take more care around your crown as the hair can grow in different directions here :)

yup though i found the back a bit difficult - ended up with tufty bits i missed so it does need a check... surprised your gf won't do it, its so easy and quick for someone else to do

Used to do mine myself. Living on my own I didn't have anyone to check for me so I just used 2 mirrors. Dead easy.

Yeah, but the hardest bit is the back. If you're not careful your head ends up looking like an old tennis ball.

If it's a Number One, you should be OK doing it yourself, using touch as your guide to any missed bits.

Mr Spudqueen does his own with a number 2 razor. Like unruliejulie all I do is check that he hasn't got any badger stripes!

my husband used to do his own head with a selection of strategically placed mirrors. He did not have a no 1 all over, he had a number something onthe back and sides, and another number else on the top with a french crop at the front.

His hair always looked really good and no one ever believed us that he did it himself. He now goes to a barbers in London where a person called 'jonathan' cuts his hair for 25quid a go. I wish he would go back to doing it himself.

He is not a hairdresser himself, he works for an investment bank.

my dad always does his himself! He had a number one all over and even does his beard at the same time, he kinda just goes round and round his head doing the beard aswell!! my mum or me go over it afterwards to check for tufty bits but usually he does a really good job!

my hubby does his himself , its not a number 1 either but it looks like a proper haircut .He also does the nighbours ..and all there kids and my 2 sons as well .
He has no training whatsoever, but funnily enough his surname is Barber.

i shaved my head with a shever i had for christmas!!

my god did i look a tw*t, i then asked the wife to sort it and that didnt help, in the end i had to go my barbers i use and he gave me a very frosty head clean up!!

I usually cut mine as short as possible with the grader then finnish off the job with shaving foam and a Mach 3 razor, been doing it myself for the past 10 years, you'll soon get the hang of it.

Girlfriend won't help because she probably thinks a lot of you, doesn't want to risk making a complete mess of it and upsetting you. Wouldn't Knightrider be a more appropriate username?
