msn warning

I am talking to a friend of mine on msn and it came up (in the conversation window)
"Your buddy has a new Buddy Icon. Take a look! " and there is a link under it, I asked him what it was and he cant see it and doesnt know what iot is! So if you see it people DO NOT click on it!!! The person you are talking to did NOT post it, it must be something dodgy!

Linz used to get them too but they used to say 'See who is blocking you with the new block checker'.. something like that. I don't think she could see them either but I only ever used to recieve them when talking to her so I wonder if it was coz of her PC or something she had downloaded! I must admit I haven't seen it when talking to her in a long time now!

I have seen both the buddy icon one and the see who is blocking you one too. I think if the person who has it uninstalls and reinstalls messenger it goes away, but thats a lot of faff, best just to not click on anything like that
