Ephedrine actually helps with weight loss by boosting your metabolism by increasing your body’s thermogenesis. It's not necessarily bad; it's just that people were taking more than the recommended dose along with caffeine pills and other medications, and that's where people experienced some really bad side-effects. Read about the pros and cons online though!
