Big exercise in small spaces...

I'm currently looking to raise my general level of fitness and hopefully lose a bit of weight in the process.

I'm going to the gym, but would like to supplement this with some work at home, either to tone me up, or get my heart rate going for a bit.

Problem is, my room is a little lacking of floor space, so I was wondering whether anyone has any ideas of what I can do either at home, or in my surrounding neighbourhood to speed up the process.

Thankyou!

Hi,if you have a flight of stairs where you live go up and down them 15-20 times or do a bit of step aerobics, when I wanted to lose weight last year I walked for 15 minutes, took a mental note of where it was and over a little time I was walking the same distance in 10 minutes and felt a lot fitter also losing a stone in weight, good luck, Ray
do everything at break neck speed, such as collecting the washing, washing up, washing the windows etc
Also, another option would be to try buying Pilates/Aerobics videos or DVD's to try out in your room...perfect for rainy days.

These are generally recognised as being an outstanding combination of bodyweight exercises.
