old colour contacts

I found my old colour contacts from 8 years ago which I'd forgotten about, still in the container but the solution has dried out.

If I clean them is it safe to wear them again?

I wouldn't, I suspect the lenses would have dried out as well.

Yeah I definately would not advise you to wear them.

i doubt it, as i am sure that the actual lenses will be like crisps (small see thru ones!) and they will not go back to normal

I guess it would depend on whether the lenses are the old 'hard' lenses or not. If they are, it would be fine to wear them again after you've given them a good soak and clean. If they're soft, bin them
