I'm working through my lunch to leave at four and I should just make it!!! And I am in a very excitable mood - hope they don't let us down!!!

I think it's a very irresponsible attitude for a union to take. However, I also think that companies should recognise the interest the England team is provoking and try to meet their non-essential employees half way by allowing them to work slightly flexible hours All good relationships, whether personal or commercial thrive better on compromise..

yesterday i was on a downer cos i thought i would be finishing at 5.30 :o( so id miss the first half of the match. but after i posted my wuestion on the world cup section my boss told me that i could go home at 4.30 and i dont have to work through my dinner or come in early so that was good! and im going to my boyfriends straight after work ! who lives 5 mins away so i can settle down with a bevvie before the game kicks off so im really happy ! ;o))

Our office opened early today so that we could all finish at 4.30 and go around the corner to the pub where the function room has been booked for us.

Wow butterfly23 you lucky thing!! You must have nice bosses!!! Gotta say I'm dreading what the train stations in London are gonna be like at around four. Everyone's gonna have left early and be rushing to get home in time for kick off. I will be one of them mind you so I can't complain!!!
