after giving this a lot of thought for the past year I have decided to give this a go. I have severe red stretch marks on my tummy, hips and thighs and am going to try surgery. Yes I realise it is very expensive. :-) My question is, has anyone any recommendations for a good place to go to? Obviously being so expensive I want to make sure I go to a reputable place!

gemmabe, i cant help you by recommendations but are your marks thro havin a kiddie or losin weight and are they quite recent,if so mine were like that for a while after childbirth. i had my 2 close together so you can imagine the damage to my skin in exactly the same place as yours aswell, but be patient they might fade over time mine did.and if you get a nice build up of tan, fake or real they fade even more.

Thanks hun, they are through putting on a lot of weight quickly, although I have always had a few even when I was slim, so my body is quite prone to them. I am only 22 so don't want to give up wearing bikinis yet lol. Just been on hols and worn bikini but very self conscious. Losing the weight now but want to lose the marks too! Have a bit of a tan but am very fair skinned which makes the marks look even worse. Have found a few clinics on the net but would like to hear from anyone who has actually used particular clinics offering this treatment and can vouch for their work, even if a different procedure. I noticed one Cambridge Laser which looks good...
