Could you survive without yours? If u had to? If it was forcibly removed from your clenched fist, if it was wrenched from your fingers as you fought to send that last vital text message?

yep
I LOVE my mobile and I have run out of money until Monday.I don't know what I will do.I am so sad.
oh bugger.. no it's alright, thought i crossed posted then. dot/SR
I would have thought daddy could have come up with a couple of bob if ones phone had run dry !
Yes Dot ..I can survive without the need to yell "I'm on the train, bus, big wheel"every five minutes down some poor devils lughole .I can survive.
I think I could. I hate being so easily contactable a lot of the time, but then I guess that's the beauty of the 'off' button! How did we ever manage without them, and how come we never felt stranded and isolated before they were invented? I think we've become too reliant on them, and it makes us bloody unsociable too. Ooh, must dash - I have a text!
bob...haha..to true. geddit?
I couldnt survive without mine. As I have extra long thumbs (just like Uma Thurman in that film) I was born to text and hitchhike.
The only problem is when certain people dont text me for a while I get really hurt feelings about it.
No am not allowed any more money uintil Monday.5 pounds a day is my maximum but it is easy to use that up.

I do think girls are alot better at using text messages and mobiles than blokes, it's something to do with multi-tasking isn't it.

If u ask a bloke to get the washing in he'll say, i can't I'm washing the car. Of if you ask him to wash up he'll say, oh can't i've got a form to fill in!

Same with mobiles, if u ask to borrow his, he always says, well don't mess it up! What he means he has it set to numpty mode and he is afeared your gonna lose his two stored contacts, (his mum and the bank).
I survive quite well without mine every day ~ I am always forgetting to switch it on!

If anyone needs me they use my landline or email. I work from home so it's easy enough. If I am out I am obviously busy, so they can wait :o)
I dropped my phone in a canal last summer (it's a long story...), so was without one for a week or so. It was really liberating to be uncontactable for a while, and made me realise how unessential they truly are. I know some people who have two or three different phones, which i just find very sad.

I have a pink one but baby pink not like the gaudy pink on the pinkrazor phones.

D'you not use a mobile then IAP? Well how do you send texts mesages then?
Sexy why aren't you on contract, I thought you were comfortably off?
cos it's all bollox.
i could survive without just dont take my ipod!!!
Because this was the nicest looking phone and it was pay as you go.However the main reason is that my Dad pays for my mobile calls and he does not trust me.Talking of i-pods I could NEVER live without mine.
Evening Dot. I have a really old mobile, it weighs a ton. And I forget to turn it on most days. Only use it for emergencies.
I don't like people being able to contact me. I like silence!
if he pays for your calls and doesn't trust you, wouldn't you be on contract? that way he can check your phone bills.

Dafty.
