To text or not to text?!
24 Answers
Had a date last week with a guy, last Thursday to be precise! All went well (or so I thought!). Ended the date by having a good, passionate kiss and went our separate ways.Problem is I havnet heard from him since! Had met him twice before this in a nightclub but the last date we met in the evening for a coffee. He had suggested meeting up lots of times since we met , seemed eager, but it was bad timing for me as I had to study for exams. Should I text him a light-hearted message or just leave it?If I did, would it just look like I've been waiting for him to text and now I've just become impatient?!I'm no good at these dating things!!

Just go for it, what's the worst that could happen? And in response to Ward~Minter, it's much easier to text someone, because then there's no awkwardness in case one person doesn't want the same thing as the other. However, i'm sure that won't be the case here, he's probably sat by his phone right now waiting for that text...
Ludicrous, madham. I used to not text immediately for loads of reasons.
1. You're constantly told not to look desperate (stupid in itself).
2. I wan't to see if she likes me enough to text first (stupid again).
3. Downright fear of rejection (you guessed it, stupid).
And there are loads more. I don't know why I thought these things though, because they're all daft. If 2 people like each other, quit the gameplaying, stop taking advice from your friends and just run with it. Don't listen to stereotypes about who should call who first, how many days you should leave it etc. If you want to do something do it. If I liked a girl and she texted me the next day, I'd love it. If I didn't like her and she texted, then it doesn't matter how much time she lets pass. So you might as well find out rather than worrying!!
