To text or not to text?!
24 Answers
Had a date last week with a guy, last Thursday to be precise! All went well (or so I thought!). Ended the date by having a good, passionate kiss and went our separate ways.Problem is I havnet heard from him since! Had met him twice before this in a nightclub but the last date we met in the evening for a coffee. He had suggested meeting up lots of times since we met , seemed eager, but it was bad timing for me as I had to study for exams. Should I text him a light-hearted message or just leave it?If I did, would it just look like I've been waiting for him to text and now I've just become impatient?!I'm no good at these dating things!!

I agree with 4getmenot. Send a little text saying how are you,? enjoying the football I hope, if you fancy meeting up again get in touch!
And likewise, if you dont hear back delete the number ;-)
He has either lost his phone or isnt interested! Remember he is a man and they can be a bit stupid sometimes!

Thanks people! I think I will, and if he replies, he replies and if he doesn't, then nothing ventured nothing gained!

Text him.
You know, men and women aren't that different most of the time, although they pretend to be. He might be thinking that he doesn't want to look desperate and he'll wait for you. A couple of days of waiting and he may have convinced himself that you don't like him because you hadn't texted him. Basically, you could be thinking the same things and end up never texting each other because of game playing, and that would be a shame!
Men don't like psycho-texters, but then neither do women! And women don't like men that aren't attentive, well so do men. I finished with the last girl I'd been seeing because I had to do all the running all the time, and I hate that.

Yea Supernick, I agree totally. I know it's "my" situation we're talking about here but in general too!
I was seeing a guy for a year (last year) and while he did do 99% of the running at the start ( and still managed to not be clingy or needy.just lovely!) I did meet him half way after I got to know him and like him. Lads aren't always-actually NEVER- as confident about themselves as much as they let on. And, it IS a daunting task chasing someone, especially if they like them.
Just my sentiments anyway!

I'm at work and so is he....?I don't really think either of our workplaces are conducive to personal phonecalls.
Also, I happen to think it would be a bit full on ringing him for a "chat".
Also, if you place SO much emphasis on face-to-face human interaction, Ward minter, then what on earth are you doing on this website??

O dear GOD Ward Minter....you clearly have no concept of how times have changed. If I am to abide by your version of the "good 'ole days", should I not be all "ladylike" and wait for the gentleman to contact me first?? If your suggestion of taking the bull by the horns is not an indication of times having changed (and for the worse, as you seem to think) then what is???
Fought a war without a mobile phone, eh? Good for you.Aren't you great?
