Any chance I'm pregnant?
7 Answers
I Know this is very premature, but my period is due sometime next week (I'm not very regular), and my hubby and I had unprotected sex this weekend (purposely I might add), do you think I've left it too late in the month to conceive, or is there the slightest chance????????
Thank you in advance

However, I will say this.. so many times I was convinced I was pg but that was down to wanting a baby so much. It took 6 mths worth of trying to get there in the end - not that I'm complaining!!! :P
Good luck TC :o)

Hi, I'm no Doctor but have been trying for 4mths to get pregnant and have read about everything there is to read. The most likely time to conceive is around the time you ovulate, which in most women is mid month around 14 days from the first day of your period. Once your egg is released it only survives for about 24hours if not fertilised. Try this site it's got loads of info www.babycentre.co.uk and the very best of luck (I'll keep my fingers crossed for you).
if your period is due towards the end of next week then no u haven't left it too late. u can buy pregnancy tests that can be used up to 5 days before your period is due. i used early bird tests to detect both of my pregnancies, they were not expensive either, i think i paid 5.50 for a box of 2 tests. good luck and i'll keep my fingers crossed for u xXx
Ditto to MrsNuman. My wife and I have looked at this. It is not something you should programme your sex life for, but as I understood it. If you take day 1 as the start day of your period, then your most fertile period after is generally considered to be days 10 to 15. However, everyone is different and even the best medical advice is just to keep practising, whatever the time of the month.
