im toying with the idea of gettin my teeth whitened through lasering. they aren't bad as it is but i know they could be better. i was just wondering if anyone has had this done before and a rough price? do all dentists provide such a service or is it only in those that are private? thanks

Hi havent had it done myself but a colleague toyed with the idea - it costs around 4 hundred quid (can't find pound sign on this keyboard!!!!)
I would imagine you have come to that idea after having exhausted all your other options. Like a strict teeth brushing regime for a few weeks, no coffee, no red wine, no smoking. Otherwise, it would seem strange to want to spend a small fortune on it when you can actually save money doing the above and achieve a nice white smile. Obviously if you have tried it and it didn't give the results you were hoping for then you should contact your nearest cosmetic dentistry surgery and speak to them, you can find them in the yellow pages.
Have yout tried Crest Tooth Whitening Strips xJx? I bought a box on E Bay. 10 out of 10!!.

i dont smoke or drink anyways so that wasn't hard to stop :) my teeth arent even that bad i just want them a shade lighter, bit of a perfectionist! not really prepared to fork out 400. how much are the crest stripes and how do you use them? ta for the suggestions everyone. x
Sorry xJx, I forgot about this question. I've just been looking back for anther question. The strips are much cheaper on E Bay about 10-12 for a large box. In the shops they're about 20. You get 2 lots, one for the upper teeth and one for the lower. Just peel the strip from its backing and place it over your teeth up and down, leave them on for 20 mins and rinse. You may feel a slight tingle but only for a 2nd and dont clean your teeth before you use them. Kay.
