An old and hoary one.

I know that in 1900 I didn't exist in any way unless I was predestined from the beginning of time. I can't say the same for 3000. Try something sometime. Imagine yourself not existing. People say we live on in the memories of children, friends, etc, but Imagine Yourself Not Existing. Think what it would feel like - well you wouldn't feel anything because you no longer exist. This to many human beings is a terrifying thought, the fear of annihilation, becoming Nothing.

Try it now.

What if this is a test?
What if the body we exist in is simply a host?
What if the things you do in this 'life' determines what or who you will be in the next?
My mum - a religious person suggested that this IS Purgatory, she could be right. but then I'm not religious so can't allow myself to go with that idea (as nice as it is)

I'd like to think, no, hope that there's more to do after this but what if lights out really means LIGHTS OUT?

Will the last person to leave, turn the lights out.....................
"Why fear death? It is the most beautiful adventure in life"..

Who knows but life be that which men call death, and death what men call life?"

"I know of but one remedy against the fear of death that is effectual and that will stand the test either of a sick-bed or of a sound mind - that is, a good life, a clear conscience, an honest heart, and a well-ordered conversation; to carry the thoughts of dying men about us, and so to live before we die as we shall wish we had when we come to it"......
"A dislike of death is no proof of the want of religion. The instincts of nature shrink from it, for no creature can like its own dissolution. - But though death is not desired, the result of it may be, for dying to the Christian is the way to life eternal".....

"Time for him had merged itself into eternity; he was, as we say, no more".........
Does the soul live on or is it just lights out and thats it? None of us will know until our time comes. I dont know what to believe. How can we say what happens after we've died. Has anyone here died and come back to tell the tale?

I photograph orbs as a hobby, I find places that are on old ground, hotels and pubs mainly, as they seem to stay the same for centuries! It's said that they're spirits just floating about, without the strength to become the full 'ghosts' we associate with the afterlife. If you want to see have a look here...

Let me know what you think!
Harry Houdini was very heavily into the afterlife, having some kind of afinity (or so he thought) with clairvoyantcy and spiritualism........he always said he would prove it all to be true and "return" after his death..........Nobody ever saw or heard from him again!!!

Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, I believe said something simlar......guess what?........he's never been seen either!
