ive just come back from shopping with my brother he has a disabled badge as he has ms and finds it hard to work very far, well we couldnt find a space anywhere,i got out and went looking round, you know what a woman with her two kids went into one ,she had no badge on her car,so i went up to her and said,do you know these spaces are for the disabled, she said yep i know but im not going to be long, well that did it for me,i said my brother has been driving round for 20mins looking for a space and he needs this more than you do,are you going to move the car,she said no you park somewhere else,im not really a nasty person but she was being cheeky infront of her kids so i said if you dont move your car ill move it myself.she just walked away laughing into the shop, i waited 10mins she never came out so i and a passer by who was a very nice man we pushed her car out of the way and we parked there ourselves,my brother went into the shops i waited incase she came back,my bro was back before her,he got in and we drove off, as we were driving away we saw a warden going up to the car,i hope the stupid selfish cow got a ticket, some people are so cruel
tradey you attempted to move a car when you don't drive and so had little clue of any posssible security devices? My alarm would have gone off if anyone had done this, how wreckless are you? What sort of car was it, i shall google it's specs and let u know what security features this car has,
i dont need to control myself thankyou, ive never done anything like this before and never will again i know and ive said it before,i know i was out of order but its done now
laurence estie is on planet NewYork, and how is this the same issue? It's not about parking it's about potential criminal damage, which is not covered by the drivers insurance as it is on private land
dotty you cant say you wouldnt have done what i did you dont know until your put in the position,i myself never thought id do something like this but i did ive got ot get on with it so you must too
dotty, disabled spaces as you are aware are alot bigger than normal car park spaces, this is to allow for wheelchairs
The woman in question was wrong, and you can be rest assured if i was in tradey place, i would of moved her car whilst she was watching, and if i'm breaking the law so what, that would make it 1-1
Ps, you can't call the police as its your property, so you would have to get the car privately removed at your expense, now if the car was dumped on your property, would you,
I know for a fact I would have handled it totally differently as I have alot of patience and Sundays are a day that just roll by, no rush, if it takes 5 minutes to wait for another space fine, i would never resort to rash actions and criminal acts, just to go shopping. Especially if it was not my car i was driving.
i guess the problem here is that there were wrongs on both sides ... the womans wrong was a moral wrong, where as tradeys wrong was a legal wrong. Unfortunately, depending on your beliefs there isn't really punishment for moral wrongs, but there is for legal wrongs, meaning that although people can see why she did it and may completely agree, tradey is the more likely one to get punished!
Good on you, I think they should be clamped and if there had been a sign saying as much I would've had no doubts about fetching someone to do it, good on you...
If it happens again make sure you let the tyres down too ;0)
are some of you struggling to understand where tradey is coming from, the woman was bang out of order full stop. she might as well stuck to fingers up to tradey, well its the likes of the tradeys and me of this world that take the law into how own hands at times like this
Kazza, i can see your point, but the point is to get the moral person to understand that they can't break the law, its a disabled parking space{you require a disabled permit} and if she won't move her car, i will be it legally/illegally
