if ur hair is really tangled when you've washed it, is it better for the hair to wash it when its wet, or wait til its dried?

For more on marking an answer as the "Best Answer", please visit our FAQ.If your hair gets that tangled particularly when wet, it could be that the ends are excessively dry/split and the problem would probably be much improved by a trim and tidy at the the salon.
Alternatively, as the other's have said, use a wide toothed comb (something like an afro comb would be ideal) and comb through the conditioner and leave it on for a few minutes before rinsing. Also, a hair mask (get from boots, tressemme make one) might also help.

You should never use a brush on wet hair, always a comb, preferably a wide toothed comb because a brush will damage wet hair. In answer to your question, use a good conditioner and comb after washing to detangle.I also always comb it through whilst the conditione is on and leave it on for a few mins.There are lots of products on the market that help if its really tangled. Also, try not to rub the hair too much to ease the tangleing a bit.
