I'm interested in the theory that your emotions are linked to an organ of the body for eg anger is linked to the gall bladder and so if you're angry it may manifest its self as intense pain in your gall bladder. I was just wondering if anyone knew any of the other connections? Or wher I can find out more about this?

Well, there's an aquaintance we know who is intensely irritating to all and sundry, and is frequently referred to as 'a pain in the ass'
This is interesting gando - I work as a psychotherapist and am particularly keen on something called somatisation which is the link between emotional feelings which show up as physical symptoms in the body. E.g. trauma and distress in the mind, displaying symptoms of IBS or chest pains or migrane in the body. etc. etc. I haven't heard of the connection to body organs but will go and research it now as it is something that interests me greatly. Thank you for giving me food for thought. Doll xx
I agree heathfield.

Another term often expressed "Gets on your t*ts!!"
"Does your head in!"
If this is true then it would back up the theory that when someone receives an organ transplant that they actually inherit characteristics of the doner. Makes you think doesn't it................!
