i sometimes get a tingly sensation on one side of my face - almost as if i have singed all the hairs on it (I know this, 'cus i did, once!)
It feels very tender to touch and an almost toothor jaw ache on the same side.
I've never had toothache (touch wood and metal) and was wondering if this is what it could be?
I would say I get it a few times a year. has anyone else ever had it?

Maybe it could be a mild form of trigeminal neuralgia? Google it and see if any of the symptoms match up.
crisgal., You could have TMJ..TemporoMadnibular Joint Syndrome. I've had this for years, its caused by a loose jaw, sometimes clicky. Its made worse by chewing especially meat would you believe? Also tooth grinding "Bruxism" brings this on. I tend to grind my teeth at night and my jaw often aches when I wake up. The tingling sensation is one of the nerves near the ear.. Try massaging the jaw area with warm olive oil, works a treat. Kay.
