Has anyone tried the two week Special K Kick start "Diet"(bowl of cereal for breakfast, lunch and propoer dinner), and did it work for them? Can you still snack in between or should you stick to the two bowls of cereal
Eating special K is like eating air. It does nothing to supress your appetite. Sounds good in theory but i would be wanting to eat again after 10 mins (if that) in which case, its not gonna be any good. It has to fill you up if its gonna be sucessful.
You'd be far better off having 2 bowls of porridge, far more filling and much better for your digestion. Most cereals are full of stuff you don't need. Get yourself some nice organic oats from Holland and Barrett and make it with either skimmed milk or water. It's sooooo nice and oats help to cleanse the intestines of all the nasty bacteria that builds up.
Yep. Special K diet would be waste of time. It's not even very good for you! I'd follow jobby-g's advice and try porridge instead. I find it a buit like wall paper paste and always succeed in spilling it all over microwave, but it does fill oyu up and is good for you. Failing that, just try cutting down amount of carbs you eat (but still have some) and increase lettuce intake-works for me if I stick to it!
I did it, but i did it stricter and had 1 bown of special k and one small meal in the evening and still drank fizzy drinks and lost like a stone and a half in a month. What i found was if you have say a chocolate craving, id have a small square and really enjoy it knowing it was my only treat whereas before id wolf down about 3 bars haha!
But my advice do the diet properly as it says... as im just careless and was looking for speedy results which wasnt really safe
