yes i did.
i posted for advice a few weeks ago as i wanted all you good peoples' advice.i booked a lesson and nervously arrived.had a moment when i saw the size of her 16.1hh but beautiful.the nerves got the better of me for a few minutes and refused to get on.they walked jake (horse) round for a minute until i composed myself then on i got.whee!!!!!! after being led around for ten minutes i took control and went myself.i felt utterly thrilled.am so proud of the horse for carrying me and myself for getting on her. lessons booked again should be jumping within a few months.so a mega thanx to all those who gave me a cyber push.talk about a confidence boost.thanks

fantastic i was worried
I really really miss riding, and yes I do mean horses!

there's no greater feeling than ambling along a country lane on the back of a horse (gawd can you hear the sniggers?)

Congrats on having the courage in the 1st place, and keep at it!

oh i'm going to boo.my childhood dream of owning one has reared its head again and this time i can include the getting on its back as well.when i start to look good in the jodhs again then i'm really going to celebrate.i might be in a nursing home by that time but by god i'll have thighs to die for!!!!

neigh fear!!! although the olympics is just around the corner.i reckon i'm good enough to be a jump!!!
