I was nauseous for days and needed to drink gallons of liquid but this was because of the after-effects of the anaesthic. Generally though, I'd heard very positive feedback about keyhole surgery because it is far less invasive than normal surgery and allows you to recover much more quickly. Also, fewer nerves and muscles are damaged in the process, which greatly reduces the risk of adhesions, which can sometimes cause problems afterwards.
i was due to have my gall bladder out earlier this year, but talked my surgeon round by leaving it in there.... im very squeamish and got scared of it all by the time my surgery date came.... i changed to a healthy diet and been gall blader pain free for over ten months now..... :-) yes i suffered when i had bad attacks, and i mean bad attacks.... each time i was taken into hospital and put on intraveanus morphine..... yet i still was a big baby and tried to change me and what was causing the attacks I changed my diet to no fatty foods to control my attacks... now im much slimmer too :-)
I had keyhole quite a few years ago, and assure you that it was well worth it in comparison to the Gall bladder agony I went through.
Strange, but the only problem that I had was aching shoulders from the drug that they give to women giving birth,( someone will know the name ).
They said I would be in for 24 hours, but it turned into a week.
Do not hesitate get it done, I can only but sympathise with you if you are suffering. Hard@it
