Someone who has known me for ever said to me the other night that i have never lost my temper in all the time they have known me which i hadn't thought about before :)) xx do you lose your temper much? and what is most likely to set you off? x x x x x xx
I very rarely loose my temper, thats not to say it has never happened. I generally find it so much easier to walk away or ignore a situation then to get all worked up.
no i sulk, for days and days, i lose my temper wirth the dog, BT, the local authority when they cannot deliver a new wheelie bin within 24 hrs, the power company, customers who wear a shoe for 2 months and bring it back cos the heel tip has dropped off (and oh they only ever wore it on carpet never concrete), my daughter all the time because she drives me crazy,
my ex husband cos he vanishes on a regular basis, my doctor because he makes stuff up to humour me and i am not a hypochondriac, the BBC cos they cancel stuff for no reason, and don't get me started on my broardband supplier and internet provider, and i have endless patience i am frequently told lol
I do have a temper, but it takes such a long time for me to lose it, when I do though I really go for it. As I get older I find it easier to ignore things, the only thing I can't ignore is when somebody I love or trust lies to me...just light the blue touch paper and stand well back!
but the lads who work with me have mentioned the times i have told obnoxious (sp) customers to fcuk off and get out of my shop!!! but its only happened 3 times in 4 years??
hay carla ;o) i lose my temper but not that often i usually lose it when i get frustrated over soemthing i never go around picking fights because iv lost my temper !
Hello nursecarla, i have a temper, the most trivial thing can trigger it, i,m the original ''SHORT FUSE'' sometimes i want everything to go perfect in life and if it dosen't ''THATS IT'' i go of on one, the silly bit about it is, i know i,m doing it, and i know i can control it, i,m getting better as the years clock by, but as my wife would say, calm down for you have a heart attack.
An yet 5mins later i can switch off as if nothing ever happened
my dad has a VERY short fuse, years ago when he was in business he would have what the lads called a hat dance when he lost his temper, he would throw his hat on the floor and kick it!!
one day one of the lads made a boo boo and when my dad went over to see what was wrong, the lad grabbed my dads hat , kicked it away and said calmly " i f*cked up r kid"!!!
