Good question! I met the lovely Mr S when I was travelling in the states 11 years ago. Whilst having another shot of Wild Turkey at the bar with my friend , he sauntered in dressed in the white US navy uniform. Well, would have been rude not to...........

he dropped his mate to my house, came in for a drink, came back the next day, and the next ........... he became my best friend for nearly a year til he got sent to sea (he is in the navy) and i realised i was in love with him!! i wrote to him and told him the reply i got was about fcuking time why do you think i kept coming round!!! 7 yrs and 2 kids later ........ lol!! xXx

I met my fella at work about 5 years ago and we still work for the same company. He wooed me whilst on a work night out and persued me for a few weeks until we moved in together after knowing him for about 3-4 months been together ever since.

Met mine by accident on Yahoo messenger. He was working from home and in a bored moment scanned the yahoo on line list to see if anyone was on line. He noticed that I happened to be in the same area and sent me an instant message. (I had never actually used it before, so it was a surprise when the box appeared on screen!) We chatted for several months and then met up...and that was it!! (He was the only person I ever talked to on line!!) We have been together 4 yrs and married for 2 and we have a 2 yr old boy!

i was a plumber many years ago... my Mrs was staying at a government owned hotel called H.M.P. Holloway... it was a nice enough place with wrought iron window grills and a cute little stainless toilet in the corner... a sort of bed sit..

ide been called in to unblock the toilet. not the best job in the world, but i like it... when the personal servent unlocked and opened the door to my Mrs` room, she was standing over the tioled with a shredded bed sheet. would you believe she was trying to unblock it herself... she is a diamond !!!
well, it was love at first sight. she donned a pair of my overalls and helped me with my work... she was so impressed by me, she even carried my tools out to the van and begged me to take her away from her hotel and back home with me...
trouble is, she wont go out in the day time now.. she has sensative skin and only goes out at night...

I met my hubby on kind of a blind date.

His uncle and grandad used to drink in the pub that I was working in and they were always telling me that he was perfet for me, but I was too shy to just meet him! - so they arranged for him to come in on my day off and my friend called me to come in coz (apparently) someone else had phone in sick!! Obviously, when I got there there this was all revealed, and everyone else bu��ered off so we got to know each other!!

That was 11yrs ago - we met in January and were engaged by the summer!!.....

i went to school with my wife, we spoke when we saw each other after we left school, but 14 years later we were both in a club and just got talking......... we have been together nearly 9 years now and have 2 great kids!!

I met my partner on a short trip to France, he was shopping in this cute little French supermarket looking for cigarettes and fine wine, i spotted him straight away , he looked terribly familiar but the name just wouldn't come to me, anyway, we got chatting and struck up this connection straight away. he contacted me as I passed him my email Addy and over the months we got close, he had to go away alot on working assignments, and then one day he said he had left his long term partner and their children as he couldn't live without me and could i live the life of a Pirate.......so i said oh yes and we are now on the run in the Black Pearl and avoiding all sorts of demons and villains, it's a life i suppose.
