it could be a insect bite. put some cream on it. if it doesn't go away consult your gp from joe age 12
Hi tradey! I once had a lump exactly where you described, I was told by my GP it's the ones that don't hurt that are usually something to worry about. It is probably a cyst but it's worth just getting it checked out for peace of mind. xxx

thankyou joe will try the cream if its still there over weekend ill go doctors x
It could be a boil or ingrowing hair. I've had these before and they've gone away. I'd go to the doctors if it's still there in a few days.
Same as above
hope it is just a bite
Best to get it checked out - it's probably nothing, but it's better to be on the safe side! That's what drs are there for!! :o)

I get these all the time, tradey. They are nasty little beggars ~ usually blocked hair follicles which can turn into painful cyst type things :o(

I have had one or two drained at the doctors in the past..not pleasant at all. I have also had antibiotics quite frequently, but they always come back...usually during a very stressful time.

thankyou whiskeysheri, ive never had one under there before not even a spot thats why im worring, you maybe right but when you find a lump you dont half panic you would know cheers x
whoops we all posted at same time!
Just read the other replies ~ WS & WM are quite correct regarding more serious lumps..they tend to be painless.
sounds like a boil to me,I get them when I use anti perspirent, might need lancing go to docs
Hi tradey I have been told the same thing as Whiskeysherri and Wardy - I've had several breast cysts which definitely hurt and were aspirated (basically emptied with a blooming big syringe), however always get unidentified lumps checked by Doctor.
A lump under your arm could be something or nothing, please get it checked ASAP.

Love the post from Joe, what a great 12 year old
you got a hat trick. it may also be a allergic reaction to something or a heat bump
thanks horse stache
