Does anyone know what problems you may encounter in designing an experiment to compare individual and group therapy for children with phonological disorders?

age & stage of development of individual members
phases of forming, storming & norming
individual learning styles - think about visual and auditory perception.
understanding of the individual needs/abilities (according to previous therapy plans)
modifications made to suit the individual
how the worker interacts with the individual/group
(prompts etc)
Not really sure if that's what you're after Kissyfur, what experiment could you design? what would the results of the experiment determine? I think you'd have to begin to design an experiment before you could look at any possible barriers.

no probs kissyfur, I just popped over to science and saw the reply! grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.
just wish I could help you a bit more, I work with children who have learning difficulties on a one to one & group basis in mainstream schools - but not on a therapy level.
Just keep posting your questions, there's still lots of people on here who will gladly offer to help. x
