Have changed my eating habits in the last month and my pms this month was bloody horrendous (paranoid, paranoid, paranoid) so i am assuming it has something to do with my food.
All done and dusted for this month now... so back to being my normal lovely self.
Have you changed anything recently?

I used to get horrific PMS when I was on the Pill (weird I know cos it's meant to help balance things!) Came off the Pill about a year ago (having treid 4 different ones over the years), and now I feel much better as far as PMS goes. don't seem to get as many mood swings, don't seem to cry as much (although the trade off is much heavier periods - booooooo!)
I have never before in my life had a regular cycle. However, since going onto a wheat/gluten free diet, my health is better than it has ever been and I have a regular 4 week cycle which is very novel. However, it was only this month that I realised that I am getting PMS. never before having a regualr cycle and having many health problems and having pregnancies successful and unsuccessful in quick succession, i haven't ever built up a pattern.
The problem I have now is I turn into some kind of psychopath 1 week before my cycle starts: crying, temper tantrums, rudeness, pains, feelings of desperation and also aggressive and shouty, it's a nightmare not to mention dreadful insomnia also. Then on about day 3 of my cycle It vanishes in a puff of smoke and the kids don't know if it's safe to look at me or not.
As so many of you also suffer (another revelation to me) can anyone recommend how I can fix this? Are there any remedies? or shall I just book myself into a convent every 3 weeks so as not to mix with others?
Its been nice reading this thread as I don't feel so monstrous or freakish now!
