did anyone see this last night (tues)?
About the lady who died from breast cancer. I thought it was really good.
I had an aunt who died from it when I was very young and was never given any details about it.
Although very, very sad, it was so interesting (wrong word really!) to see the drastic changes she went through so rapidly. It was very upsetting though, when she was racked with pain. I didn't realise just how agonising it was - even with the liquid morphine. It's not really portrayed acurately in dramas, is it?
i thought it incredible that she didn't commit suicide, as she said she would.
As her friend explained, though, even in so much pain, life seemed so precious, she clung on to every moment.
It made me wonder what I would do and how I would cope seeing a loved one with this.
I'm upping my cancer research donation too.
