Life for a Life

Evening all,
I'm probably going to upset some folks with this thread, but it's something that I feel quite strongly about.
Do you think that if someone murders a person and is found 100% guilty of it that they should spend the next whatever amount of years in prison.......
Why keep these people in prison?.....living the life of riley, which most of them do.
I say bring back capital punishment, if they take a life, surely they should have theirs taken away too.

Having said that, if it was a terrorist - blatantly obvious evidence etc or an assassin then yes.

i'm not sure because if i think they are 100% guilty then yes, but too many mistakes are made and that where it goes wrong, especially in the case of peophiles who in my opinionn should be put down , but unfotunatly so much can go wrong and an innocent person could die, which has happened in the states, that i think the current system is not good enough to vopr, nor would i like to be on a jury to send someone to their death

I totally disagree, we do not need to kill people to feel some kind of satisfaction, what ever we do it does not change anything, we still end up with a dead victim plus a dead murderer.
If capital punishment was around REDBEL... could you be an executioner?
And also, what about those who are innocent but found guilty.... do they deserve to die. I understand you may be only thinking of people who have confessed or all evidence gets points to them, but innocent people may also die.

Bez..you know I'm always behind you..and in this case..I tend to agree too. Some people are evil..nothing more or less. They don't benefit anyone or society,by living. If ever released, they would re-offend.How many victims of so called "reformed" criminals, would be alive today,if..those "things" had not been sent back into society?..I'm not always so sure about the death penalty...but..a life sentence, should mean that.Removed for life, from ordinary civilisation, and no special treatment.
