Please, I'm so worried
6 Answers
Some of you know, I have just found out I was pregnant a few days ago (you were kind to answer my post). But this morning I was in a bit of an accident. A bus pulled out of its lane and hit the front of my car (I have only passed my test a few weeks), so although I wasn't hurt, every inch of me was shaking, and I was crying, my little girl (2yrs old) was sleeping in the carseat in the back.
I'm so worried that the shock and state I got myself into is going to affect my pregnancy, as I have never been that shaken in my life. Would this affect my pregnancy? I'm really worried and getting myself quite upset in work.
Thank you in advance.

I think it would take a bit more than this to cause any real harm but please go along and see your G.P or midwife just to put your mind at rest completely. Don't get any more stressed than you already are X
Obviously your stress is inderstandable, but nature makes sure baby is very well protected from bumps and bangs that can happen to mum. have a chat with your doctor who will check you over. You are bound to be more upset as both a new driver, and an expectant mum, but things will be fine, on both counts.
Thank you all so much, I have calmed abit, and I think its the pregnancy hormones that have made me a little more shakey than normal. Ive had a good cup of tea, and my body is starting to relax.
Ive got a docs appointment soon to get my pregnancy confirmed (took home tests) so I will talk to the doctor then.
Again thank you.
