wierd blood vessels! help !

hi! a couple or years ago a small blood shot appeared on my face, its still there! grrrr, i havent really minded it unteil now however ive just gained four more! I saw my doctor and he said its nothing to worry about - but still they're horrible right under my eye!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! he said i can easily get it removed with this tiny hot instrument, however the hospital i go to do not posses it!
has anyone had this kind of same problem? Is there another sneeky way to sort it out!? please help me they're over taking my face!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! lol

Interesting to know what you mean by blood shot, did you mean blood spot? what roughly does it look like and how big and what colour?

ive had one of them since i was a wee girl. its on my cheekbone. since i was a teenager, i put a brown dot over it with eyebrow pencil and everyone thinks its a beauty spot. i dont even really notice it now.

It sounds like a 'broken vein' (what I always call them anyway!). I've got quite a few of them at random points on my body & face! They could be caused by putting harsh substances on your face, from pressure- banging my elbow gave me one! They could be due to smoking (quit recently coz they were on my cheeks but more blurry looking), or drinking heavily- but the ones you describe sound more like the pressure type ones. They fade with time. Bio-oil (can get it cheap from chemists), electrolysis (not cheap but will do the job!), or just living with them...I cover my face with makeup and pretend they're not there then when I wash it all off I realise they're still there...grrr! I know how you feel- it's frustrating but skin is a delicate organ and can get damaged like this. :)
