zolpidem

I have been on zolpidem (sleeping tablets) for the last 6 years. My doctor has recently stopped prescribing them and I am suffering withdrawal symptoms such as dizziness, dry mouth, sweating, shortage of breath, sickness etc. Does anyone know of a remedy/herb etc which will help with these side effects?

You need to go back to your doctor. These tablets were supposed to be only prescribed for very short terms,eg weeks not years.As with all tablets in this range of drugs you need to cut down gradually not go cold turkey.
