I have a date on wednesday with a guy Ive known for about 5 years that I used to work with, I always liked him but he was in a relationship so obviously I never did anything about it. BUT hes now single and all nicely available and we are just going for a drink, but Im a bit nervous as Im really fond of him.. Any vital dating tips? And what to wear?!!! Arrgh !

I reckon u should wear some fitted jeans (to show ur booty)....with some nice shoes or boots with a smart top - nothing to OTT and accessorise appropriately.

Thanks Nat I was thinking along those lines myself with the outfit.. going to get my hair blow dried and straightened all nice on wed afternoon too- I havent seen him in a year and I want to make a good impression. Thanks Pinkfizz and Nat- the two hop a longs pulling out all the stops for me eh !! Yeh Im not going to drink or throw myself at him- Im thinking softly softly approach. It was actually a mutual friend of our that told him I liked him, and asked for his number for me, and then we text back and forth a bit and he called last night and asked me out so its good so far ! Im 27, I should really be better at dealing with this ! But oooh jesus the nerves !!

Sexy jeans, a nice simple top, casual but smart and also a bit fun so i would go with Pink Fizz, a colourful vesty type top would be good, or even a halter top if it's not too going outy type. I wouldn't wear boots, but it depends how comfy you will feel, maybe some wedged sandals, or funky flip flop, kitten heels or something like that. make sure your toesies are looking nice though.
A little make up to lok like you have made an effort, but not too much, and the same with jewellery I think. Maybe more beads and simple bits and peices.

Lucky you! I really really like this guy at work, we have been on a few outings together, walking his dogs and going for something to eat but then he told me he had met someone and was in love with them. I felt so devastated.

I have to see him at work and its really hard, my stomach turns over.
