Hi, does anyone have any theories on how to conceive a baby girl??

Not sure you can do that, but an old wives tale says to eat more fish for a boy, so maybe avoid fish? Although the chances of that being true and having to avoid eating fish when its so good for you...I would keep eating the fish regardless, and maybe more of it now that you're pregnant! X

Thank you Blue Chang, I eat lots of fish, so it's maybe gonna be a boy - because yes, I am actually pregnant!! (only 5 weeks)

- the reason I asked the question is because I'd heard of a theory a long time ago that said the older the man's sperm was before it fertilised the egg, then the more likely it was to be a boy - I just wondered if this was possibly true, as I know exactly when we had sex and also when I ovulated so thought I might be able to calculate the likelihood of it being a boy or a girl!! if that makes sense?*! (hoping for a girl, already have 1 boy) x

Theres the old wives tale that if you crave savoury foods when pregnant youre carrying a boy, sweet and its a girl.

Oh, also, I remember something about holding a gold chain over your stomach, when lying down and it will do round in a circle one way for a girl and the other way for a boy.. sadly, I can't remember which way is which! I guess that if it really works, it would always go the same way no matter how many times you do it!
