How can I stop myself from being jealous of my boyfriends best friend? He used to really fancy her, so I'm finding it hard not to worry when they got out together etc. I havnt said anything about it to him though!
thanks x

The only person who can properly reassure you is your boyfriend, so talk to him about it. If he's a nice guy he'll understand and make you feel better.

You're probably right, I just dont want him to think I'm going to be some jealous obbsessive weirdo! and I also dont want him to think that I dont like her, because I do!
Plus another part of me worries that he's going to tell me he loves her!
How would you feel about her, were it not for this situation? Do you like her, could you get-on with her? Why not try and befriend her? It might make you feel better and find a new friend into the bargain.

I do like her, shes quite a good laugh! I think we get on quite well, so thats something...
Smiley's right. I am the close friend of many males and this can be uncomfortable for any new ladies on the scene. I basically make an effort to get on with them (or if I hate them to keep my trap shut).

One did once express their worry that her bloke would 'go off' with me given half a chance and I pointed out that if that was ever going to happen we'd have done it by then. I'd say that this is most likely the case with your blokey and his mate.

Just keep being friendly with her and I'm sure it'll all come good xx
