You should see a doctor if it is sore, chaning in colour or size or discharging any king of fluid such as pus, mucus or blood. It's not a definite sign but should not be ignored either.
If you are worried about a mole, you should see a doctor just to get it checked out, even if it is showing any of these signs.
If it's more than 1/4 inch across; growing; irregular edged; bleeding; itching or irregularly coloured then see a doctor pronto!
