OK, that does it! I'm off to the kitchen, see ya later guys! Thanks for being such great fun! I shall now devour all that the kitchen has and then go on a crash diet! GRRRR bye! :o)
River cottage is great I loved the one where he made some fritters with courgettes and their flowers I cant for the life of me remember the recipe though.

Went to Meole me, my dad used to work at Wakeman, looong time ago now though.

Know some people who went there but year above me though. I'm 27 and went to Meole 1990-1995.

I think its great that we have managed to think of more positive reasons about the UK then we did negative ones in the earlier post, We always seem to hear about the bad in the news so it was good to read something nice for a change.
So Wardy - what you are saying is that we havent got a lot going for us!
the thing i like about the u.k. is its so easy to get out of it and live abroard...and to add to wardys nice things, Cricket,,, i love explaining to americans how a game can go on for five days and still be a draw, and that lunch and tea is an integral part of the game...smashing !!!
