Walking a lot, obviously don't tire yourself out for the labour, but definately walking to bring it on and during to quicken it up, don't let them lay you down and strap you to a monitor, stay upright as long as you can. Good Luck
Raspberry leaf tea my midwife advised, you can buy it from the health food shops. Tastes gross but works by softening the cervix entrance.
A hot curry, go up and down the stairs several times if you can manage it.
I went for a long walk before my eldest was born, I went into labour next day, he was a week early, same with my youngest went christmas shopping walked the town and gave birth a day later, did nothing with the middle one and he was 9 days late!!
Supposed to be 3 B's - Bonking, Balti and Bouncing - the first is at least true. There are prostaglandins in semen that induce labour - some are used to do so medically - Prostaglandin E2 - or prostin
my wife and i,had a fry up seemed to work.I have read somewhere,a bit course sorry, get your man to suck your nipples.Something to do with milk production ?
Only works if the baby is ready, mind you..and DON'T use cod liver oil...it can be quite dangerous as apparently (according to my midwives) it can cause the baby to poo and get into distress. Not that I tried it..I would rather have waited ;o)
Soooo, just to re-cap,you need to have a hot bath, dry yourself whilst jumping up and down, then have a hot curry, followed by pineapple, and raspberry leaf tea with orange juice.Retire to the bedroom with lots of rumpy pumpy, nipple tweaking and hey presto........!!!
