Three litres of fat is the generally accepted maximum that should be removed in any one treatment. Removal of amounts in excess of this often lead to complications. There are some American states where legislation stipulates a maximum of 5 litres, but even there they rarely exceed the 3 litre level.

You don't need liposuction, so why ask? Don't have an operation you don't need: anything can go wrong on an operating table.
